Pro kibble. Pro evidence.
How we build a trustworthy kibble directory.
We believe complete, well-formulated kibble deserves clear advocacy backed by accurate product facts. That means celebrating its strengths without inventing ratings or repeating marketing claims as evidence.
We start with the manufacturer.
Our first choice is the brand’s current UK product page, packaging or published technical information. We record the product name, life stage, recipe, declared analytical constituents, bag size, feeding claims and other factual details as stated.
We use reputable UK retailers to fill genuine gaps.
When the manufacturer does not publish a price, pack image or complete specification, we may use established retailers such as Pets at Home or Jollyes. Prices are dated snapshots because promotions and availability change.
We separate facts from verdicts.
A high protein number, grain-free label or fashionable ingredient does not prove that one food is universally better. Our directory helps owners compare complete kibbles on consistent fields while our guides explain why formulation expertise, nutritional adequacy, quality control and suitability for the individual dog matter more than feeding folklore.
Why our position is openly pro kibble.
Kibble makes complete nutrition practical: it is cooked, stable, measurable, easy to store, widely available and offered across life stages and budgets. We challenge misinformation about processing, cereals and ingredient lists while remaining precise about what the evidence can and cannot support.
Corrections and review dates
Products change. We show source or check dates where available and correct material errors when better information is supplied. A correction changes the relevant fact; it does not buy a favourable verdict because we do not sell rankings.
